Surprise!!

Well, Brandon and I have some good news. We are 10 weeks pregnant. The due date of our little peanut is January 11th (Happy 30th Birthday to me!) We had a scare with some bleeding early on, but an ultrasound during week 7 showed that everything is all good. Of course I cried when I saw him for the 1st time!! We are very excited for the new addition to our family, but I'm new to this so I will take any advice/help I can get.

We are going to call the baby a "him" though out the whole pregnancy. (Unless we do decide to find out the gender, but it will probably be a surprise!) Hopefully if the baby does come out a girl, she won't have a complex about that. We don't really care if it is a boy or girl as long as it is healthy, but we just believe that a boy would be easier.

We tested early, so we found out about him at about 3 1/2 weeks, so I already feel like I've been pregnant forever. It was so hard not telling everyone about him (even though some of you guessed!) I've been feeling pretty good so far. I'm a little nauseous at times and get heartburn very easily now, but nothing bad.

We have a lot going on early this summer (Meagan's graduation and 18th Birthday, my little brother's graduation, my older brother's 1st baby) so I will try to keep this updated as much as possible.
